Whaleback's Olympian offers free tips
by Staff Report/
The resident Olympian at Whaleback Mountain in New Hampshire is giving free ski tips three times a week this winter.
Not only is Evan Dybvig a co-owner of the Enfield mountain, but he also competed in the 1998 and 2002 Olympics.
He plans to offer pointers Tuesdays through Thursdays at 1 p.m.
Whaleback (www.whaleback.com) is in its fourth season of operation under the new ownership.
Dybvig says the mountain has been making progress every year since he — along with Zero Gravity LLC and other investors — purchased the mountain in 2005 to make a year-round sports center for youth.
