Take a step back in time at the Stowehof Inn & Resort. The Stowe, Vt., establishment treats its guests with a level of care that harkens back to simpler times. With its 46 unique rooms, each with private bath, authentic European duvets, cable television and traditional amenities, the Stowehof provides for a memorable stay. Breakfast is included with each room night. Awe-inspiring views of the Green Mountains are found from the balcony or patio.

The fancier rooms at Stowehof include their own wood-burning fireplaces, separate dressing rooms and sliding glass doors that maximize the view.
The Stowehof also is known for its memorable wedding and event hosting.
When it comes to dining, Stowehof offers two impressive options.

Emily’s dining room is a picturesque dining venue. Horse-drawn sleighs, falling snow, crackling fires, candlelight dining and fine service complement exquisite wine lists and world-class cuisine. The perfect spot for memorable occasions, Emily’s is a Stowe treasure featuring inspired innovations from classical roots including the finest local game, hand-cut steaks and seafood direct from Boston.

Coslin’s Pub is a cozy après ski destination. A full-service bar and special pub menu are complemented by a fireplace, TV room and great Vermont micro brews on tap (Guinness, too). Coslin’s serves dinner from 5:30 nightly.

According to one visitor who had a wedding there: “The staff at the Stowehof is out of this world, they were very helpful at every turn. Great inn and awesome place for a winter wedding. The scenery around the inn is magnificent and the inn is cozy and beautiful. We had sleigh rides for our guests and drinking and dancing the night away. Without any work on my part, it was great.”
