Celine Valentin (Simsbury, Conn.) earned the snowboardcross title in a Revolution Tour event at Copper Mountainin Coloradoon Sunday.
Valentin outraced the field to take the win. Carrie Uren (Randle, Wash.) and Ashlyn Parker (Sandpoint, Idaho) trailed Valentin to post second- and third-place finishes. Jaqueline Hernandez (Londonderry, Vt.) was fourth.
Chelone Miller of Franconia, N.H., was third in the men’s race.
