Liz Stephen (East Montpelier, Vt.) placed 50th in the women’s 10-kilometer individual freestyle cross country race at the Vancouver Olympics on Monday.
Stephen, 23, finished with a time of 27 minutes, 41.1 seconds.
Charlotte Kalla of Sweden won the gold medal with a time of 24:58.4. Kristina Smigun-Vaehi of Estonia was the silver medalist, followed by Marit Bjoergen of Norway.
