N.E. athletes named to U.S. Paralympic team

Paralympic gold medalist Chris Devlin-Young (Campton, N.H.) highlights a group of four athletes from New England that will make up the U.S. team set to compete at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver, BC, March 12-21, 2010, with skiing events taking place in Whistler.
"We are looking for our experienced Paralympians to lead the team to victory," U.S. Adaptive program director Sandy Metzger said.
The U.S. Paralympic Team for alpine will begin competing March 13 with men's and women's downhill.
The cross country action starts March 14 with men's 15K and women's 10K in the sitting discipline.
New England athletes chosen to compete include the following:
Devlin-Young, men’s sitting
Carl Burnett (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), men’s sitting
Tyler Walker (Franconia, N.H.), men’s sitting
Laurie Stephens (Wenham, Mass.), women’s sitting
