Julia Ford (Plymouth, N.H.) claimed the NorAm Cup super combined title on Monday when poor weather forced the cancellation of NorAm finals events at Burke Mountain in Vermont.

Ford wrapped up the super combined title 60 points ahead of teammates Laurenne Ross (Klammath Falls, Ore.)  and Megan McJames (Park City, Utah). Both Ross and McJames scored 100 points this season, trying for second place in the overall super combined standings.

Ross won the super-G title by 258 points over Canada's Georgia Simmerling. Ford claimed the bronze in super-G.

With two races to go, giant slalom and slalom at Waterville Valley, Ross has a comfortable lead of 565 points ahead of Ford. Ford sits 94 points ahead of Simmerling. The overall NorAm Cup winner will be announced on Thursday, following the slalom race.
