Maine to host XC Super Tour Finals

The U.S. Ski Association Super Tour Finals and U.S. 30K and 50K championships will be held March 23-28 in northern Maine.

Cross country races will be held in Fort Kent and Madawaska, featuring top skiers from several countries. The entire U.S. cross country ski team is expected to compete, along with athletes from Canada, Sweden, Japan and Brazil.

The U.S. Super Tour Finals 2010 will feature prize money awarded for each individual race, time and cash bonuses in both the mass start and the Sprint events and a pursuit start hill climb event.

The U.S. national 30K and 50K championships will be held March 24, in Fort Kent, Maine, with mass start classic and sprint races being held at 4 Seasons Trail Association Lodge in Madawaska and the hill climb events at the 10th Mountain Division Lodge in Fort Kent.
