Marshall, Nickerson reach podium

Chelsea Marshall (Pittsfield, Vt.) was second in women’s super-G at Saturday’s 2010 U.S. Alpine Championship at Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, N.Y., while Warner Nickerson (Gilford, N.H.) was third on the men’s side.
Keely Kelleher (Big Sky, Mont.) was the women’s winner, followed by Marshall and Laurenne Ross (Klamath Falls, Ore.).
Travis Ganong (Olympic Valley, Calif.) was the men’s winner, with Will Brandenburg (Spokane, Wash.) in second and Nickerson third.
The top juniors of the 2010 Visa U.S. Alpine Championships were Ryan Cochran-Siegle (Starksboro, Vt.), who blasted from bib 31 to finish sixth, and Felicia Byers (Sandy, Utah.).
