Heather Herde (Oxford, Conn.) and Michael Trapp (Hyannis, Mass.) both placed second in the women’s and men’s snowboarding parallel slalom at the U.S.Championships in Steamboat Springs, Colo., on Saturday.
Lindsay Lloyd (Centerville, Utah) won the women’s title, followed by Herde and Megan Farrell of Canada.
Chris Klug (Aspen, Colo.) was the men’s winner, followed by Trapp and Justin Reiter (Steamboat Springs, Colo.)
