Relaxed cruising is the easiest way to describe skiing at Butternut Basin. Most of the runs are narrow, winding their way down the mountain and allowing skiers to enjoy the variety. The conditions, immaculately groomed corduroy most of the time, are a key to the relaxation. An almost complete absence of lift lines helps the feeling of this low-key area that caters to skiers looking for simple fun on skis.
