Fresh off appearing at Cannon Mountain’s BodeFest last weekend, New Hampshire skiing icon Bode Miller has announced a new venture.
The two-time overall World Cup champ and six-time Olympian is now getting into the equipment and branding business, launching Peak Ski Company, a direct-to-consumer, high-performance ski and brand platform that is leading with a line of six all-mountain and side-country alpine skis.
Co-founded with ski industry veteran Andy Wirth, who also teamed up with Miller on the Alpine-X team developing an approach to indoor snowsports, skis will be priced at $890 and available only through peakskis.com.
“I can verify that these skis rip…and we are just getting started,” Miller said in a statement.
