Cranmore Mountain Resort is recognizing and fostering a community for women in snowsports with its first Women’s Week from March 10-15. The festivities will include a wide range of activities.
“We have designed the week to celebrate skiing at all levels,” said Cranmore director of sales and events Kelly Hunt. “Whether someone is getting on skis for the first time, interested in hearing about the experiences of a local Olympian or learning how to care for their gear … there is something for everyone.”
It begins Monday with “Women’s Ski Lessons,” which offers a supportive and empowering environment for women to improve their skills. Skiers of all levels are invited to learn from three of Cranmore’s experienced instructors from 10:30 a.m. to noon for $159 per person.
“Cranmore has a long history of teaching people how to ski,” Hunt said. “Monday’s Learn-to-Ski event celebrates the incredible women who are involved in this decades-long tradition.”
