Six New England ski areas will form the initial participants of Indy Pass’ latest avenue toward providing savings on lift tickets.
The Indy Allied Resorts will be a new category under the Indy Pass, providing a 25 percent discount off lift tickets holidays and weekends at six ski areas in the Northeast (Dec. 24-March 12). At all other points during the season, Indy Pass holders will receive 50 percent off lift tickets at participating ski areas.
“The Indy Pass coalition is striving to be as inclusive as possible so that all independent resorts can benefit from this alliance, Indy Pass founder Doug Fish said. “Because we’ve reached ‘peak density’ in some regions, the Allied Resort program allows us to expand without affecting the economics of our model.”
Three New Hampshire areas (Dartmouth Skiway, Whaleback Mountain, and McIntyre Ski Area), two in Vermont (Burke Mountain and Middlebury College Show Bowl), and one in Massachusetts (Bousquet Mountain) were the first to sign up for the program.
