Save the obituaries for Black Mountain.
Only one week after owners of the historic Jackson, N.H., ski area declared that it would not open for the upcoming skiing and riding season, Indy Pass parent company Entabeni Systems announced that it has reached an agreement with Black to remain open for the 2023-24 season.
The Indy Pass, which includes Black on its offerings, will provide resources to operate this season, as well as assistance to find a buyer.
“I am proud to collaborate with the passionate folks at Indy Pass to find a solution for Black Mountain and affordable skiing,” Black Mountain owner and general manager John Fichera said.
