For the eighth time in the last nine years, Killington will host the top women’s technical ski racers Thanksgiving weekend in a pair of FIS World Cup races.
The Killington Cup will feature a giant slalom on Saturday, Nov. 30, and slalom on Sunday, Dec. 1. The all-time leader in World Cup victories, Mikaela Shiffrin will look to go 7-for-8 in the slalom and defending the title she took back a year ago.
Paula Moltzen, who placed eighth in both races a year ago, AJ Hurt and Nina O’Brien are also expected to be in the U.S. Ski Team lineup that weekend.
Tickets for the Killington Cup will go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. at killington.com.
