Seamans Media is proud to announce that it has hired veteran multimedia journalist Eric Wilbur to take on the role as editor at skijournal.com.
Wilbur has been a contributor for the New England Ski Journal print edition for the past decade and is now looking to help translate the vibrant skiing community of New England skiing to a new online platform. He is a veteran of chronicling the New England winter scene, with his work having also appeared in The Boston Globe, boston.com and Boston Metro. He is a member of the North American Ski Journalists Association (NASJA) and is currently in the midst of writing a book about the extreme skiing scene of the 1980s and ’90s.
“I’m excited to devote myself to turning skijournal.com into a popular portal for New England skiers and riders,” Wilbur said. “We are such a passionate clan with a mindset for winter that sets us apart. I hope to translate that excitement into our original content and social media channels.”
In addition to a full season of magazine issues throughout the winter, New England Ski Journal TV returns this season, now on NESN.
