The New England Ski Museum is raffling off a ski vacation for four people in St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria. That is the hometown of Hannes Schneider, who founded the ski school at Cranmore Mountain.
Christoph and Hannah Schneider, owners of the Schneiderhof Hotel Garni, donated a week stay at their boutique hotel, which is the original home of Christoph’s grandfather, Hannes. The town’s mayor has thrown in the ski passes to sweeten the pot.
The available weeks for the trip are April 6-13 or Dec. 13-20. The prize is valued at $9,000.
Raffle tickets are $100 each, six for $500 or 14 for $1,000. They can be purchased online at newenglandskimuseum.org, email [email protected], calling 603-823-7177 or in person at either the Franconia or North Conway locations of the New England Ski Museum.
